Commemorative Air Force Minnesota Wing Deployment to EAA AirVenture, Oshkosh, WI
The Commemorative Air Force Minnesota Wing deployed three of its aircraft to one of the greatest celebrations of aviation--the Experimental Aircraft Association's (EAA) annual AirVenture event at Oshkosh, Wisconsin (July 27 to Aug 2, 2014).
The Wing's special guest was Air Force Colonel (retired) Dick Cole, Jimmy Doolittle's co-pilot for the April 1942 Tokyo raid. In his late nineties, he is one of only four Doolittle Raiders still alive and is full of energy.

The Thunderbirds dive out of a loop. Notice the condensation trails the aircraft are generating in the humid Wisconsin air.
