CAF Airpower Tour--Duluth, 5-7 Aug

Here are images from the Commemorative Air Force's AirPower Tour to Duluth, MN during Aug 5-7, 2013. The tour featured the CAF's B-29 Superfortress "Fifi" and B-24 Liberator "Diamond Lil". Additionally, the CAF's Minnesota Wing deployed to Duluth with their L-5 Sentinel, PT-22 Recruit, BT-13 Valiant, and B-25 Mitchell "Miss MItchell" aircraft. The Commemorative Air Force was not the only air force flying--the U.S. Air Force's 148th Fighter Wing of the MN Air National Guard was also flying, providing an ear-splitting display of F-16s taking off in full afterburner. The Commemorative Air Force Minnesota Wing would like to thank all those who visited and supported the CAF AirPower Tour--especially those brave enough to embark on a History Flight.
