Blue Angels in the Big Sky
Gallatin Field, near Bozeman, Montana, was the stage for the Blue Angels in the Big Sky air show held July 28-29, 2007. The clear skies and mountain backdrops of Montana’s Big Sky country were a picturesque setting for this fantastic show. The hot weather did not deter thousands of spectators from attending.

If you thought that only little planes like the aerobatic Extra 300L or jets like the F-16 can yank and bank, think again! For a big plane (big enough to transport an M-1 Abrams tank), the C-17 Globemaster III can do some serious yanking and banking. This C-17 and its crew from McChord AFB, WA, provided a good demo of this big airlifter’s capabilities.
