Gallatin Field, near Bozeman, Montana, was the stage for the Blue Angels in the Big Sky air show held July 28-29, 2007. The clear skies and mountain backdrops of Montana’s Big Sky country were a picturesque setting for this fantastic show. The hot weather did not deter thousands of spectators from attending.

Those who enjoy small planes performing high-energy aerobatics were not disappointed, as two very talented aerobatics pilots performed. One was Greg Poe, flying the ethanol-powered Fagen MX-2. Fagen, Inc. is an advocate of ethanol fuel, and seeing what this plane can do burning clean ethanol, I can’t wait to try some myself!
