Airliners--big, colorful flying machines!! Compared to military aircraft, with their drab, low-visibility schemes, airliners offer a colorful subject. In case you are wondering, that 3- or 4-letter code in parenthesis after the airport's name is the airfield's identifier, assigned to the field by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). It's the same code you see printed on your baggage tag when you fly on the airlines.
